Devendorf and Flynn Help the Orange Terminate the Spiders, 76-71
Eric Devendorf sparked Syracuse's come-from-behind victory with 18 second-half points.
11.18.2008 | MBB Junior Eric Devendorf and sophomore Jonny Flynn sparked Syracuse in a come-from-behind 76-71 victory against the Richmond Spiders in front of 16,260 fans in the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, November 18. Flynn led all scorers with 27 points, while Devendorf recorded 22 points, including 18 in the second half, in the second game of the O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.

The field hockey squad defeated Princeton, 3-2 in overtime, on Sunday to advance to the NCAA Championship semifinals for the first time in the program's history. Syracuse will take on Wake Forest on Friday at 7 p.m. in Louisville, Ky. The championship is set for Sunday at 1 p.m.

  

After opening the season with three straight road games, the women's basketball team takes on Portland State in its home opener on Saturday at 1 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-366-3849).
